Emerging Pharma was incorporated in 1997 in Malaysia with the aim of sourcing for top-quality pharmaceutical products to be introduced to Malaysian medical professionals.
We have come a long way since 1997, having to face the credit crunch of the Asian financial crisis and having to bear with recruitment issues as a new player in the pharmaceutical industry.
Today we are a small to medium-sized healthcare group based in Malaysia, with a total staff of 41, about 2,500 customers throughout Malaysia and a turnover of 17 million ringgit in 2007. As a healthcare organization focused on enriching quality of life, we aim to be the most desired by medical professionals, suppliers, employees and patients.
To remain competitive, Emerging Pharma needs to expand fast to achieve economies of scale. From 2008 and beyond, our growth strategy will be to grow organically or by entering into potential acquisition or strategic alliances with potential partners.
Aspiring to be the most desired, innovative, leading global healthcare group, we aim to improve the efficiency and productivity of our staff at all levels. We believe that in implementing growth strategies, it is crucial for our staff to exhibit all these qualities, namely: openness, innovative, result-oriented teamwork, taking ownership and continuous learning.
We have put in place our Web-based Virtual Office, Human Resource policies and Vieca Sales System (Sales Force Management System) as the foundation for growth from 2008 and beyond.
