To this end, we continuously engage in partnerships with medical professionals. We consider our network of doctors and pharmacists to be a source of valuable feedback on our products. At the industry level, we are committed to regular participation in trade exhibitions and other events.
We also undertake continuing medical and educational community service programmes for the general public, frequently at clinics and pharmacies involving medical professionals simultaneously. This enables us to support the growth of a medical professional’s medical practice, while providing valuable information and service to his or her patients.
Within our organisation, we are committed to adopt cutting-edge technology to constantly increase our sales and support our brand-building methods. Through our ViecaSalesTM system (Mobile Sales Force Management System) our sales team is empowered with up-to-date information anytime, anywhere. It also includes an Intelligent Itinerary Proposal module (the very first in Malaysia) which drastically cuts down time spent on planning so our sales team can concentrate on their sales.
Patient relation programmes
Under V-Protect™ our Diabetes Albuminuria Awareness Programme, we organise educational talks and free screenings at clinics. By implementing such patient relation programmes for doctors, we enhance their level of healthcare delivery, and also ensure the public benefits from an important service. V-ProtectTM2 is organised with the Malaysian Society of Nephrology and National Diabetes Institute, and is the first of its kind in Malaysia.
Guarantee programmes
To encourage doctors to consider prescribing Monurol (antibiotic for cystitis) where appropriate, we initiated a guarantee programme, the first in the industry. If a patient does not respond to the treatment, we undertake to pay for the lab test and refund the cost of medication.
Continuing medical education (CME) for doctors
We hold frequent workshops and symposiums for doctors, where both foreign and local speakers and key opinion leaders share insights on the latest developments in the field.
Support networks for the public
Cerebral Palsy Network Malaysia (CPNM) is an Emerging Pharma initiative that provides a support network for children with cerebral palsy, as well as their families.
