G5 Series™ is based on the successful GIII Series™, where fewer products can be compared with the former series. G5 Series™ introduces a common set of ions to prevent intracellular stress induced by moving embryos through different types of solutions. The gradients of carbohydrates are also present to meet the different requirements of the embryo at successive stages of development. Additional to the already protective environment, amino acids are included according to the needs of the embryo. Prior to compaction, non-essential amino acids and methionine reduce homeostatic stress, while post-compaction essential amino acids stimulate inner cell mass development.
